Tried a few items at Zatka Bites and had a really positive experience. The vada pav with chai delivered that true Mumbai street‑style comfort, and the misal pav (loved the packaging) was genuinely comparable to what you’d get in Mumbai — rich, spicy, and very well balanced. They also offered paneer momos for tasting, which was a thoughtful gesture and actually quite good. Overall, warm service and authentic street‑food flavors make this a solid spot in Austin.
Zatkas vada pav will take you back to your childhood core memory of eating vadapav. They make their pav in the house, they make fresh vadas to the order. They have green chutney, red chutney, shengdana chutney and hirvi mirchi. The staff is also very accommodating, they served us 6 vada pavs even though we reached at store closing time. Great customer service.
Tried Zatka bites for the first time while I was shopping in the area. I took a to-go order of 1 vada pav and 2 chicken Frankie. Must say both tasted really good. The Frankie was very flavorful. I recommend having it quickly otherwise it tends to get soggy with the sauce. The prices were very reasonable. At first glance, the Frankie felt small but it was very filling.
We came across this place through reels! And must I say it’s just beyond amazing! As a Mumbaikar, I can vouch that their taste is exactly what I have been dreaming to have in US and they delivered that taste with quality. Must try for sure. We drove 1/2 hr for this and it was 100% worth it. Thoughtfully packed, they have a drive thru & sitting. We loved the vada pav, missal pav, kokam sharbat! Had a lovely chat with Mr. Kiran & his partner. Serving with love & warmth! Will come back soon!
We tried the Vada Pav, Misal Pav, and Sabudana Vada, and every single item was spot on. The Misal Pav was flavorful, perfectly spiced, and felt just like back home, while the Vada Pav was fresh, well-balanced, and incredibly satisfying. My wife tried the Omelette and Tawa Pulao, and both were delicious and comforting, with great taste and texture. What really stood out to us—besides the food—was the polite and welcoming service. The staff was friendly, patient, and genuinely passionate about what they’re serving. We also loved the concept: simple, clean, nicely packaged food with a strong focus on taste and authenticity.
New establishment! Absolutely delicious, super friendly staff as well! I was trying the pizza place next door when i stumbled across there menu, decided to give it a try the next day. No regrets everything was super fresh and flavorful!! Definitely will be back prices are pretty good, top tier! for sure
Zatka is back and this time with a bigger bang. The first Indian drive through restaurant I've seen! Finally you don't have to wait 20 mins for your food if you're craving Indian, felt like a dream come true. We ordered the Vada Pav, Misal Pav, Tiranga Maggi, Chicken Frankie and Sabudana Vada, all competing with each other for what was the best! And what was even better? It was all ready by the time we drove to the payment window! Amazing food and killer idea, Kiran and Bhagyashri have started something which is going to change the Indian food scene in all of Texas and North America soon.
Zatka Vada Pav food truck is an absolute gem! The vada pav bursts with authentic Mumbai flavor—crispy, spicy, and perfectly balanced. Every bite takes you straight to the streets of India. Fresh ingredients, friendly service, and unbeatable taste make this food truck a must-visit. Pure comfort, pure joy!
